My name is Pamela Joy Simpson and I am from Southwestern Pennsylvania. I love my little part of Pennsylvania in the deep valley along the cool, clear Youghiogheny River. In my mind I call the corner where we live "Rainbow's End!"
The very first day that John sent me an e-mail asking me to join his writer's forum at the then 500Paday site in end of July, 2006, I was "IN!" This was exactly what I wanted to do, write, with a possibility that in time we could learn to earn an income. I have deep respect for this site and all the people here who write their articles and opinions.
I love to write about anything and everything. Small things that happen in our lives, happy, sad or funny. I write very much about my parents and the wonderful years of my childhood growing up in our small coal mining town running the hills and down along the river by myself with my dogs. My God, husband, family and our black Lab named Jezebel mean everything in my life.
I write a lot about what I have learned and viewed just from living. Most of the jobs I have had have all been in sales, from clothing to real estate and insurance. I have been a secretary, waitress, beauty operator, and also a tavern owner, so I know very much from dealing with people, about human nature and how one reacts to certain episodes. I enjoy businesses and figuring out how they work, compensation plans and such. Although I know that I have to have money for bills, money is not my driving force. I think that it is "Being" of something and being grateful and knowing the money will then follow which interests me so much more.
I love to do things where I can give something. If I am making crosses I want to give them away. If I am making corsages I want to make enough to give them away. I am happy when someone expresses joy and smiles. I love to plant flowers and watch them grow, essential oils, reading, walking with Eddie and our Jezebel, cooking and swimming.
One thing I do know is that "We can not be all things to all people." I know that "it only takes one sentence to make or break a life so choose wisely." |
