I am not a medical physician so I can not tell you how to take care of your medical issues. BUT, I know what works for me and how I recovered from a pain racked and overweight body. Here are the following things I did to get to the fitness level I now have.

FEELING GOOD AND LOOKING GOOD IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! The number one thing is to keep it simple, enjoyable and eat food that you like that are good for you. That way you will stick to your plan. DIETS DO NOT WORK, Starving yourself does not work, eating foods you hate does not work! Keep your fitness goals realistic and simple!

#1. I DO NOT EAT HIGHLY PROCESSED & PRESERVED FOODS. If the food is not fresh and comes in a box and or contains large amounts of fat and sugar it does not make it to MY plate.

#2. KEEP YOUR FOOD CHOICES AND AMOUNTS SMALL & SIMPLE. You do not need to constantly read packaged food labels, (simply don't eat that stuff) Working with fancy recipes, weighing or measuring every bite of food or starving yourself is NOT the answer. KEEP IT SIMPLE. Salads, soups made in a crock pot, raw fruits and vegetables. These food items come in their own packaging and are easy to carry to the office. AGAIN, KEEP YOUR FOOD SIMPLE.
When I live in the Philippines I try to eat only what is available from the local market. Fresh fish, fruits and vegetables that I can grow. How simple is that?

#3. Get FRESH AIR AND SUNSHINE EVERYDAY. Again simple

#4. EXERCISE. Based on your fitness goals your exercise can consist of a walk around the block with simple stretching or you can go to the extreme like I do by of managing a boxing club. I train several clients each day so I can easily stay in shape. The best thing to do is Just find something that TURNS YOU ON and you will be more interested in sticking to it. Try several things and you will find something that is fun, it is so much easier to stick with something that is fun and rewarding.
 
#5. Supplement your diet with a few key vitamins.  Vitamin D, most people are highly deficient of this important vitamin. Or if you can GET AT LEAST 10 minutes of sunshine a day thats even better than the supplement.
Add more fish and simple oils to your diet. A couple tablespoons of olive oil added to your salads is a great addition. If you can not for some reason EAT the oils, simply add a couple fish oil capsules to your diet. 
Add a good quality vitamin C to your diet as well, if you can eat more limes or lemons and grapefruits, that is even better.
CALCIUM is another missing and important supplement. The best way to get sufficient calcium is to eat your GREENS. There are more absorbable calcium in two cups of spinach or other greens than any dairy product plus it is considerably less expensive and you can grow them in your garden or window. VERY SIMPLE.
If you can not stand the taste of GREENS you can disguise their taste by mixing a handful into your fruit smoothie or purchase a product similar to the POWDERED GREENS as seen pictured to your right. One serving a day is like eating a pound of greens. Add to your favorite juice and you will not even taste it!
